About Anne
I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2003, a certified Bones For Life® Trainer, and Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner since 2016. Having personally experienced disabling conditions in my neck and back, I have great empathy for clients with chronic issues in their neck, shoulders, low back, and other joints. In 2001 I was forced to leave my job as an administrative assistant because my body could no longer work at a desk with a computer. I was disabled, housebound, and experiencing intense pain all over my body especially in my neck, upper and lower back. I could not play with my kids or drive my car for longer than 10 minutes at a time.
This led me on an incredible journey of self-discovery and healing. I spent the next 15 years searching for ways to improve the quality of my life and in that search discovered and fell in love with two incredible modalities that had a tremendous impact on my life. These modalities were life-changing and they helped me to have a greater sense of awareness of what was happening in my own body.
I felt so empowered mentally, physically, and emotionally. I wanted to use these healing modalities to make a difference in people’s well-being, helping them to take charge of their own health. That is why I studied and trained to practice bodywork and teach Bones for Life.
My goal is to not only facilitate relief from your pain but also give you the tools to learn to take care of yourself. I combine my knowledge and skills in Massage, Ortho-Bionomy®, and the Bones for Life® program to help improve your quality of life. As someone who has been through an intense journey, I know what it is like to feel not only pain but the setbacks, disappointments, and frustrations that go with it.
You are not alone in your journey. I will be with you every step of the way. Whether as a client or a student, I want to get to know you and understand what is most important to you. It is my desire and intention that you too will also experience the healing that these modalities have provided me and changed my life for the better.
As your body begins to reorganize itself, you will be able to move with greater ease, improve your posture, restore springiness to joints, increase vitality, and stimulate bone strength. I am passionate about sharing what these programs have to offer. I never cease to be amazed at the changes my clients and students have experienced in their bodies as well as their growing self-awareness of movement.
