DESCRIPTION:
Learn movement intelligence lessons from the Bones for Life program designed to improve your posture and release tension in your body. Each week, there will be a different focus: The lower back, neck, hips, and spine. Participants are encouraged to attend all four classes to get the maximum benefit from the series.

Anyone who can lie down on the floor can attend. Plan to wear loose, comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat, a small pillow or hand towel, and a pair of socks.

DESCRIPTION:

Ortho-Bionomy is a gentle form of bodywork that can release tension and discomfort in the body. The techniques applied are easy to learn and stimulate the body's natural self-corrective reflexes, releasing tension patterns and can help it to come back into balance.

 

This class covers the history, philosophy, and principles of Ortho-Bionomy, as well as learning observation skills and the ability to recognize subtle changes that signify the release of tension and contractual patterns in the muscles and connective tissues. It is easy on the client and the practitioner. This class is open to massage and other bodywork therapists, movement educators, and anyone interested in pain relief for themselves, friends, or family.
 
Learn gentle, non-invasive techniques for the:

  • Arms, elbows, and hands

  • Legs, knees, and feet

  • Clavicle 

These techniques are helpful for treating conditions such as:

  • Tennis and golfer elbow

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Shoulder issues

REFUND POLICY:

If there is insufficient enrollment, in case a class needs to be canceled, a full refund will be given to those who have registered and paid in full. If a student needs to cancel two weeks in advance before the first day of the class, the student may transfer the full amount to another class or elect to receive a partial refund of 80% of the class fee. An administrative fee of 20% will be charged for cancellations within the last two weeks before the course. As a courtesy to the Instructor and other participants, please relay your need to cancel in a timely manner
